AXE®
Only if you know how and in my presence only.
EVOL!
If it is a friend of mine that can play, sure. I play my drummer's kit and so I have no room to be a malaka.
James Allen
Family only, but I'm not opposed to letting someone who knows how to play and handle guitars use them. It comes down to whether or not the person has respect for other peoples' things.

grampa
I like to let others play mine so that I can hear how it sounds from the other side. But they need to be good enough players to treat my baby right.
Basshole
I let my friends play them, They understand that is a valuable and should be treated with care.
daveinspain
I wouldn't have any problem letting a good guitar player play my guitars.... It's kinda cool seeing the reaction when they handle a real jewel....
Corrosion of conformity
I let most of my friends play them, but the first time one of them damages anything I'm done.
Strider
Only if I'm there & they should be able to play, as well as respect the instrument.
FirstMeasure
The missing choice - "Depends on which Guitar it is" MIM Deluxe Strat, my Squier Tele - Only if you play 88' Strat,. Buddy Guy Strat, My Nighthawk, Epi Joe Pass - Only for a second if you play and I'm right there.
Tim Plains
Yup, as long as they're not wearing any rings and what not. I'm teaching one of my fiancé's friends how to play. She's smokin' hot and can touch whatever she wants...
rocketman
I don't let my brother play them (he's a bass player and likes to "attack" the strings too much), but others I do.
saturn
In most cases, I have no problem with anyone playing my guitar. That's not to say I would want some crackhead junky or other moron playing it, but a friend or fellow guitar player who wants to check it out is more than welcome. KSG_Standard
Yes I let others play my guitars, depending on my mood. I have lent guitars to freinds before.
Cruznolfart
I hadda go with 'depends', too. I'll let a player whom I have offered play any guitar I own. But if Fast Freddy Shreddy hops on the stage at a gig or shows up at a jam and wants to show his stuff on my axe, that's just not a happenin' thing, I don't care WHO he is. I don't like peeps getting grabby with the instruments. And I let our little ones climb aboard my lap and help me strum and pick the acoustic, after having inspected their grubby little mitts for filth and such. RichCI
I'm fine with letting people I know play them, even my friends and girlfriend who can barely play Smoke on the Water. They get a big kick out of making some noise with the gain cranked up. I own some pretty nice guitars, but they're just guitars and I beat them up playing them myself and the people who I let play them know I value them so they're careful with them. DrJustice
I tell people to wash their hands and make sure their left hand nails are trimmed (I'll lend them soap and a trimmer)... then they can have a go under my watchful eye :-) DJ --
Dynadude
I don't lend guitars to anyone, but if I know I can trust you to be careful, you could play any of them.
