saturn
COSMOS by Carl Sagan Yeah, some of the science is a little outdated (not much), but it's fascinating and written so the regular guy can understand it. Carl was a great humanitarian too.
Twiz
Some of my favorites... Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut On the Road By Jack Kerouac The Grapes of Wrath, and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
Andre S
I like a lot of John Grisham's books, like The Firm, The Runaway Jury and The Associate, which had certain similarities to The Firm. The most recent book that was awesome, and hilarious, is Waiter's Rant by A. Waiter.

Silenced Fred
Some of my favorites... Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut I like a lot of Kurt Vonnegut reads, good writer. One of the best books I have read in a while would be Jarhead, I like the perspective it as, and I share a fascination in the military. BTW, I hated the movie. cookieman15061
Two books that are definitive if you're the least bit interested in the Beatles are "The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions" by Marc Lewishon/ The where, when, how and who played on every session. "Beatles Gear" by Andy Babiuk/ Details all the equipment used by the band on tour and in the studio. This spring I read "Heaven And Hell (my life with the Eagles)" by Don Felder/ Recommend it highly. Not many people list [i']To Have and Have Not[/i] as a favorite. Decent movie made of that one too - Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. Tasty. RichCI
The one book that I absolutely HATED is "The Catcher in the Rye." I know it's a classic, but I wanted to beat the crap out of the main character. "... really..." *WHACK!!!!* I still finished it, but not without a bit of anger. Then again, I suppose the fact that it evoked a strong emotion from my must give it some sort of merit.
