Flight959
I recorded "Perfidia" tonight messing around with my little Tascam. two guitars (chords and melody), a simple bass, and some drumming on the table with my fingers... http://homepage.mac.com/dbreslauer/djb/Perfidia.mp3 and here's "Scotch and Soda" on ukulele: http://homepage.mac.com/dbreslauer/djb/Scotch_and_Soda_Uke.mp3 these are not mastered or "normalized", so i apologize for the differences in levels. :) That Uke sounds wicked!!! sellen
Great videos ^^^ ^^^ There's a thread going on about Gibson poor quality these days, and you need to buy custom shop. Well i think my Gibson SG Standard USA 2010 red devil sounds loud and mean, with a tight and good sound( As good as i can at least). Gonna take a break posting my "great vids" know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=po3tncDvX0A&feature=player_embedded
carv3r
ive made youtube videos in the past. but the mic on the laptop is junk and basically robs me of all the tone my amps and guitars create.. so i stopped making them. i will make one for shits and toss it up here tonight though. gotta participate. milod
Carv... My little AE amp solves most of that. Run the guitar through one side, vocal mike thru the other... and thence from line-out to the computer for recording. Add a photo with MS moviemaker and voila! Macs have the came potential. It ain't studio quality, and watching the computer handle the input makes you forget where you are sometime - or is that my old age? - but it works well enough. It offers some basic eq and separate volume - and you don't have concerns about miking the amp and the extra that brings. The "one guy can do all" type amp is why I got my first, a DR, in '65. All other amps I've owned have had the same capability two two input sections. The advantage to the SS amp is that line out... m
zigzag
The advantage to the SS amp is that line out... Yep... line out with 1/4 inch guitar jack on one end and USB plug on the other into computer USB port... gotta love it.

milod
Tman... Downloading from Youtube can be done in a number of ways. I use a Firefox add-in called Download Helper. I think it can be used in some other browsers as well. This product could be downloaded as either an MP4 or FLV type file. There are players than can handle both of those. m
bluesguitar65
Just noodling around with a portable Tascam DR-03 recorder. I usually record with a closed mic to an interface. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lDzQ9t-H2A
