Yeah, sorry. I didn't notice until after my post that you specifically stated they were shots of your "Gibsons". #-o

But anyway, thanks for posting the PRS. I have a soft spot for them since they are made right down the road from where I live. [thumbup]

I'm not sure if that isn't just rubbing salt into the wound, Saturn. It's (literally) freezing here!.........lol!

I'm glad you bumped it, though. There are a few beauties that I missed first time around; probably as I had gone on hols.

So Thanks for the Bump!

Thankyou Ryan.

I lucked out. The reason I am here on this forum.

Bought on ebay 2011. I am in UK and this was in USA. The seller had 50 very good pics and even though the info he gave on the year of manufacture was wrong, I still bought it - because I thought if it's half as good as it looks in the pics, it's still bloody nice - I paid a bit over £2k(GBP) including shipping and duty and it was worth every penny, though I dont have a certificate. I repeat, I was lucky. I wanted a LP Custom with a completely solid body, no weight relief etc, I had 3 guitars with 2 h/bs and had never experienced P90s. Believe me it is everything you might think and some more.

So this is a 2009 (haven't completely confirmed) Custom Shop 'reissue' of 1956 spec LP Custom, all mahogany, dark cherry. This guitar has changed my life and will finally see live action in 2014.

Regards!

It's got everything I like in a Gibson guitar...P90's, all mahogany, cherry finish, gold hardware, LP Custom appointments...I'm drooling.

Nice shots. But I'm glad for that bridge pickup or we might have seen more than we want in that reflection. [biggrin]

The sad thing Saturn is that there is no bridge pickup and it's after cialis.

Here's my Gibson herd:

Very nice snaps, saturn, and thanks for the invite to post.

Much as I love your semi-acoustic pressie if it were mine I'd probably consider swapping the 'bucker's surround for a white one and popping a chrome cover on the top but I suppose that's OCD for ya!

As far as my babes go I was moved (by Rabs' post in the LP section) to take some 'new' snaps of the Lesters (on a sunny day, as it happens) to replace the ones I've been using since, oooohhhh, the Middle Ages?

I wasn't 100% happy with the accuracy of the colours I captured last summer (post #3) so, FWIW, I took some newer ones just now but indoors as the weather is so shite outside.

The colours here are MUCH more accurate as to how they look in a normal not-100%-sunshine situation - especially the HCSB '93 R9 which looked pink in the other snaps!

Here are the usual suspects, in date order, yet again;
