Dave1963
Very handsome. What are you impressions of it? Stunning? I have a very elderly 25+ year old Takamine EN40c and tonally, it is not in the same league compared to the J45.
Cougar
....it is not in the same league compared to the J45. Very nice! Yes, I've also found that a $500 guitar is not in the same league tonally as a $2,000 guitar. I've had a number of Epiphone Masterbilts, which are excellent guitars - fit, finish, tone - all very good.... But when you compare them to a guitar that costs 3-4 times as much, well, it may not be 3-4 times better, but it's certainly better, to some degree. I was in line for a nice burst J-15, but then got waylaid by a New Hartford-built Guild jumbo F50R. Definitely better than a $400-500 guitar! RevDavidLee
Congratulations! I purchased my J45 Custom a couple of years back used from a local store. It's a 2011 model in superb condition & it's a guitar of distinction that inspires every single time I pick it up. Enjoy! :)
