Whats your favorite Classic music video

I've always thought a good music video should have something to do with the song and the band, more of a documentary type than just fantasy entertainment and scantily clad girls. From the early days of MTV, there were two music videos that always stuck in my mind.

The Who "Eminence Front": Kind of an interesting behind the scenes sort of thing, and great song.

Billy Joel "Good Night Siagon": Besides being part performance, the screen images actually follow the words and meaning of the song. I'm not sure if this is the original MTV video, but it was very similar.

I don't known if it is what Dave means but I always smile when Whitesnake's 'Is This Love' is on a old music channel. I love all the blonde flowing curly hair and the girl draped over the car. Hilarious and enjoyable 80's rock; Wonderful.

Could be anything Matt... A funny video, a deep video or maybe just one that brings back some good memories...

okay; for emotional content I elect this Dave; It is from the Fabulous Baker Boys. I love the music and the romantic chemistry but also get goose pimples when Michelle Pfeiffer's character says Jack is good. Jack replies saying that he can carry a tune... she stares at him and says "no, you're better than that"

It melts my heart[biggrin] :-({|=

Hey L5L thanks for the vid. Billy doesn't get much respect from the rock press but when i first saw him back in the mid 70's before super stardom, super models and druck driving into trees he was one hell of a live performer.

here's a great live vid.

Well, it's more Baroque than Classical, but I've always been fascinated with this stuff. (Even if it is more like Biggs than Fox.)

Does anyone remember watching the old Disney films they showed in school where the scoring of the notes was shown in time with the music?

I love it. But then again I like watching the animated calculus videos, too.
