hello everyone...

for all of you following the saga with my LG2...i found a very nice solution to my problem!

i erased my ad in the trading post after this...

let me introduce you to my new baby!

i plugged into a deluxe reverb at the store and dimed it...

i strummed a hard E chord....and got goosebumps!!!

it weighs in at right around 8lbs!

HOLY $HIT this thing ROCKS!!!

I traded my strat and lg-2 for it but it was DEFINITELY worth it!

Here she is!

WOW' date=' that is beautiful. Love the gold hardware with the stained wood finish. Congrats...[/quote']

Thanks LPguitarman!

i never was a fan of the gold hardware personally...at least on LP's but man on this thing it just seems RIGHT!

I am so pumped...now how can I make this day go by faster!

haha

thanks for all the kind words everyone...it was tough letting go my acoustic and my strat...but now I have two more voids that need to be filled!

hahaha

*dont be a pervert! you know what i mean!

yeah it has the 57 classics...

i played it today for about an hour at the store through a deluxe reverb and a swart space tone...also a Carr Raleigh...they sound incredible...

I keep hearing that a Burstbucker 2 in the neck is the way to go...but for now I wanna get used to the Classic 57's...the only gibby humbuckers i had experience with were the Burstbucker Pro's and they sounded pretty good...but man the Classic 57's...in the bridge position...SCREAM!

thanks...i have an affinity for natural wood grain...

don't get me wrong...my strat in olympic white was one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen...but the wood grain just hipnotizes me you know?

thats what im starting to develop a mighty expensive habit for!

hahaha

but on a side note...im not prejudiced...i do have a Daphne Blue (more like surf green now) 72 musicmaster bass! im looking to get a matching 6 string if i find the right one...(not a re-finish)
