DRC
Here are some other audio files as requested. Uploaded them to Sound Cloud since the Media Fire files don't seem to work on this forum. "Hector the Hero" played on the J-35 https://soundcloud.com/ballyshannon/35-hector-the-hero-1 My band live in concert. Tune is "Masters in This Hall". I was using the OM-16. Wow, the Uilleann pipes were a bit out of tune at the start of the third go-around. :) https://soundcloud.com/ballyshannon/masters-in-this-hall At a band rehearsal in the living room of one of the band members. This is a traditional Irish song "Star of the County Down" that each of us in the band has known for years but had never tried it together. So this was a first take. Turned out pretty decent and was added to the repertoire. https://soundcloud.com/ballyshannon/star-of-the-county-down And me playing Irish whistle. It's a handmade Abell Madagascar rosewood high D. https://soundcloud.com/ballyshannon/damask-rose-on-abell-whistle DC

MissouriPicker
Christopher, I like your music. It has an "old time" feel and sound to it. In all sincerity, Johnny Cash would have felt at-home with your songs, just him and his guitar, or even your J35....And your recordings put-to-rest for me (at least) the views I've often heard in regards to the J35 sounding bright and crisp. Sounds like a guitar Cash would have played. Deep and somber.......Your music sounds real and your easy-to-listen-to. I listened to all your songs on soundcloud. Nice. My kind of music. Great for listening late at night in a dark room...lol....I particularly liked "Cristiana." They all had good stories to them, but that one was a real immigrant's tale....Good work....I think your guitar shines.

Jimi D-Bo
Here's an original song that is so personal and heart-wrenching that it actually brings me to tears every time that I attempt to play it out live. In fact, In fact, I DEFY any of you guys to make it through at least two verses of this recording before you too are brought to such intense emotions that you will have to click; STOP. Go ahead, I dare you... http://jimmyd-bo.podomatic.com/entry/2013-03-18T07_23_13-07_00
