I think you bailed right when I showed.

I tried not to take it personally but there is the obvious cause and effect.

Have you looked into one of those double neck 1275s for hiding the extra insulation?  That and a very long neck tie are the ticket.

I remember you!

I remember nearly everyone here, and who is who is coming back to me.

I haven't played hardly at all since. In fact, I picked up and played about 6 months ago and found I had no callouses left. Can you even imagine?

I know this sounds strange to a lot of you, but unless I am going to play in a band or with others, I have no desire to play, and right now, there isn't a desire to join a band or start that all up again. But, every now and again....I think what if? I should jam with these folks...or..but it's only just a thought. It's a LOT of work!

This may sound vain, but where I used to be somewhat a ham, now I do NOT want to go up on stage!

A half pint of Jack Daniels down the hatch, a tube sock over your junk, some Pro Keds, a very long neck tie and a very large guitar and you're ready get up there and bang out some Chili Peppers.  Just remember, those groupies can have a LOT of energy so don't forget the Viagra and Dexatrim for after the show.

Heck, if we can do it you can!

Back to beating on my "new" D-41.  It's really quite the instrument!

Yeah I remember you. And I'm sorta like you. If I'm not playing in a band or jamming with people, I lose interest in playing guitar real fast.

Overdressed?    Reminds me of a song.   "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off.."   Really great video...

I don't listen to that garbage. Blake is a tool. I saw him (when he was an up and coming nobody) open for George Strait, who is a real country artist.

I want my hash pipe back. The guitar was insured the pipe wasn't . What the "F" do people see in  the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  Probably the same thing people see in U2, nothing.

Yah.   "Country Music" Awards Shows ... make ME want to cry.   All the Stetson 20x hats have disappeared, replaced by polyester knit watch caps.   My disdain for Rascal Flats has been overtaken by FL/GA Line.   I don't think any one of George Straits  #1s  would make the charts today.  I remember decades ago seeing an old photo of Pat Boone.  His type of mellow pop music which had been popular in the 50s  had faded.  His response was to get all costumed up like a Hippy-Rocker.  Absolutely ludicrous.    Now he's doing tv ads for bathtubs designed for seniors.

I do not watch or care about any awards shows and those self absorbed tools need self congratulation like I need another wife. Ken and Barbie country makes me vomit. Every song is about the guy wanting a girl in booty shorts to hop in the front seat of his pickup truck or she thinks my tractor is sexy. Most of those dill wads probably are not even from a state that has real country life. There is a reason the Outlaws said F-U to Nashville and went to Texas. Nashville dictates what get played and what you record and if you don't want to play along you go to Fuk-off-ity-ville as far as Nashville is concerned, cause there are 1000's lining up the be the next big thing for 5 minuets.

A buddy was in a band opening from the Chili Peppers many years ago and he give me a pair of VIP tickets.

They had the treble cranked so bad we wound  up standing about a football field away, it was terrible.

Sometimes I feel like telling the sound guys the sound is bad is like telling a friend they have bad breath.
