deeman
It seems like there is a race on here to be the first to post a death thread that sometimes people forget to do the basic research.
MichaelT
Apparently yesterday was the five year anniversary and it came up again. I've seen that with some other stories too. The Rolling Stone article doesn't seem to mention the date at a glance. Thanks Jim for your contributions. Definitely loving my Marshall.
Guest Farnsbarns
I think the date is in BBP's link. I saw that "at a glance". It's all in jest. BBP has a sense of humour, i don't think he'll mind much.

Yea, kind of like most concert posters they say the date but not the year, I always thought that was weird. Maybe he was just on standby before? I had a good laugh at that one. This time the plug has been removed from the outlet and everything.

capmaster
Any update on Glenn Miller? Pip. According to this article from the Chicage Tribune issued on 7 July 2014, the plane he was aboard may have crashed due to using a carburettor type sensitive to icing under the given weather conditions: http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/ct-glenn-miller-tv-review-20140708-column.html
