Sunburst finish or Natural

Burst all the way Baby! I am talking dark edged pear shaped tobacco burst. None of that cherry burst stuff (OK, I will make an exception for a Hummingbird). As Ted McCarty once said, their burst finish was as much a Gibson trademark as their logo.

...........................................................................................................My favorite is close to the one in my avatar, but I'm mad about this picture -

The faded cherry and the case. So real and ready. 1965SouthernJ2.jpg

I saw the blond ES175 and I had to have it, what a beauty.

I came home with her and it felt if I did not dare to touch her.

But certainly very beautifull. Due some imperfections I had to bring her back and bought me an ES175 Sunburst.

I came home and played all evening (just layed her down to take pics and post them here). Could not resist her, needed to play!

And now...I am a Sunburst lover.

I really mean that. I saw both, had both in hand.

I say BURST!
