Today, I don't trust any baby sitters (strangers) with my kids. Great to have in-laws and my side of the family more than willing to baby sit when my wife and I would go out. If they see you smoking cigs then they will do it too. usually true, but not always........Mrs.B & I both smoked and drank socially in our sons' view when he was older....perhaps 13,14........he never smoked,toked,and only had an occasional beer after asking me for it.....(16,17 at this time). He went to church(w/o Mrs.B & I), was a quickly budding guitarist/singer, was an Eagle Scout, he was Chaplain of his Police Explorer Scout unit, and planned on being a cop. His Scoutmaster had already worked it out for the local PD to pay for him to go to academy and then work for them when he graduated High School.
