I have a half dozen or more Teles in my brothel and I didn't need another I just wanted another. Been wailing on it for a few hours now and it is a keeper! I love Teles! Robert Smith of the cure used to have this old git from the 60s 70s that had these woolworth pickups, he put one in the middle of his jazzmaster pickups. surfpup Posted March 31, 2018 Share Posted March 31, 2018 Nice. I had one of mine set up that way once, Nashville style. I liked how I could get Tele and Strat sounds out of it. I eventually did something different with it because, well, I have Strats. But if I had to get by with one gig guitar that might be the one.
