Steven Tari
I've seen a lot of empty pockets in guitar cases for as long as I remember. I've always tried to keep things that I need for the guitar while I'm out playing. 1- 2 Packs of strings 2- pack of extra picks 3-Clip on Tunner 4-Lint free rag to wipe off guitar after playing I have 3 clip on tunners. So I have one whenever I go out. What do you keep in yours?
pohatu771
The strap is always in the case. If I'm going out, the pack of picks and capo also go in. If I'm actually performing, there's a whole kit with supplies, so nothing else goes in the cases.

pohatu771
There's one issue I have. My C3's case has the biggest pocket. Unfortunately, there's nothing that needs to go in there. My footstool is too big, and that's the only thing that goes with the guitar.

L5Larry
I keep a strap in the pocket of each of my guitar cases, nothing else. Everything else goes in the gig bag. I pick up whichever guitar I want, grab the the gig bag (briefcase size), and I always have everything I need. Now if the question was "what's in your gig bag?". That would be a long list. Jon S.
I just cleaned out one of my cases and found- A polishing cloth Old band stickers A rap CD(it was a freebie at SXSW) a Kit-Kat wrapper and a flashing Budweiser St. Patty's Day pin. Only the essentials......:-
retrosurfer1959
Apparently I need to keep more of my pics in the case instead of the little watch pocket on my Levi's - My wife was complaining that five pair of jeans she was washing all had GUITAR pics in that small pocket! Hell at least I'm consistent you would think I could get some credit for at least being 100% :-

cabba2203
The usual: Strap, set of strings, string winder, picks, any allen wrenches needed, #2 Phillips screwdriver and 9 volt batts if it's a guitar with active pups. Anything beyond that is in my gig bag that has more of the above plus additional tools/supplies for guitar and amp repair. As well as the holy Gorilla brand duct tape.
