rdnzl
Got this one a few days back, and just now got time to post it. It's a Gibson 1942 Banner J-45 Reissue 2013 Vintage Sunburst "1 of 20". It has a fullness that's hard to describe. Plays like butter, too. Here are some pics of it.

jt
That is one of the Kalamazoo Gals project guitars JT loaned to Gibson. Nice Score! Yep, a replica of a 1942 J-45 (now owned by a friend in Europe) that I loaned to Gibson. A beautiful thing. Congratulations. The original graces the cover of my book, Klamazoo Gals:

BluesKing777
Looks great! Can someone remind us of the differences between that guitar and my J45 (Standard)? BluesKing777.
Lars68
I saw the all mahogany LG-1, from the same Banner reissue project, on sale in a music store in Stockholm last week for about $1500. I thought about it a little too long, and the next time I checked it was gone... Lars

jt
And to top it off, 19 fretts! Of course, because the guitar that I sent Gibson to "duplicate" had but 19 frets.
fp
Of course, because the guitar that I sent Gibson to "duplicate" had but 19 frets. Yes but the SJ's they made of this run had 20 frets ! I used to own one of those as well.
Dave F
Yes but the SJ's they made of this run had 20 frets ! I used to own one of those as well. They have made some SJ's with 19 frets.
Slinky1
Ahh, the elusive "Honky Tonk Deuce".
fp
So they make that SJ with 19 frets but with the larger pickguard that normally is seen on 20 fret models. Gibson loves to mix it up !
jt
Yes but the SJ's they made of this run had 20 frets ! I used to own one of those as well. An excellent point. Here's the "replica" on the left and my original on the right:
