I think The Dead were never better from '71 - '74. They may have peaked in Europe '72. When they came back form Europe Piggy quit and Keith had the keys seat all to himself. He may have been their best keyboard player. His wife was an atrocious singer and screamed in to the mic a lot. I know many a Dead Head that can't take Donna. Unless you're implying that it eventually wound up looking like one. And the German Decca release of John Mayall's "Looking Back" was a double LP. The U. S. and UK releases were one disc only.
