retrosurfer1959
Well yesterday was the big day finally 50 years old and the wife had a surprise party the works, even a really nice high end watch for a present so couldn't ask for more until she hauled out a guitar case and said here one more present. Opened the case and I'm looking at a gorgeous Gretsch 6120 Brian Setzer model in green with combination gold and silver hardware. Hell I don't even usually like colored guitars let alone green but this ones amazing. Maybe getting old isn't so bad after all. here's the quick and dirty obligatory photo's I'll get some better ones in a day or so.

Dub-T-123
Wow that wood is beautiful. The color is nice looking and very unique! How's the tone/ feel? I love Gretsch guitars. Especially since I play a bunch of Beatles songs. That's a really nice thing for your wife to get you! She has good taste.

And this is a PERFECT gift my friend! Enjoy! P.S. My wife told my that if / when buys me a guitar for a present, it will definately be a semi-hollow guitar (not a solid one). No objection from my side of course, but what is it with women & vintage-looking instruments...?
