Surfpup' date=' you're one of the forum hotties. I demand another pic!![/quote']

Ah, you are more than kind, Izzy, and I love your Joan of Arc pic. Actually your pics are always killer.

My avatar pic is in honor of the custom that I no longer own - but it overstates my current hotness a bit. [biggrin]

Here's me 20 years later - at my mom's for thanksgiving a few weeks ago - playing a bit on my dad's nylon string...

Just kidding.....

Having hell with my photo account, my apologies for the small photo size.

I'll keep working on it.

(I dunno, may be just as well in miniature....)

:-)

Anyhow, here's me with a very large friend inspecting Silverbursted's company car in Yuma, Arizona.

Even at 6'2" I'm the little guy on the left in the Page t-shirt.

Playing a gig with friends.

Shaking the house with the full stack.

Mrs. Neo came home as I was playing, said she could hear me from the road.

Decided to snap a pic.

Mullet comes and goes as the mood (and job) strikes me. Hey, somebody has to keep it alive!!!

Mrs. Neo says I look like a cereal killer in this one.

I don't get the reference, and I'm not sure what she's talking about - I rarely eat cereal...

Thanks...that was a Marshall "Major" (200 watt) Stack. Unfortunately, NO...I don't still have any of those items

in that 1969 photo. I WISH, I still had them, for sure! But, sadly, I sold them all, when I stopped playing (for

30 years) in about 1972. That amp sounded FANTASTIC...but, it was WAY loud...TOO loud, for anywhere but

an outdoor gig, really. At least, for any places we played, around here. The biggest amp I own now, is a 1980

Fender Twin Reverb (135 watt version). Most places, I used a Fender Blues Junior...sometimes my HR Deluxe,

but even it's too loud, at the "sweet spot," for most bars/small clubs, around here.

Nice gear! Do you still have it?

NO, unfortunately. I sold all that (pictured in 1969) in about 1972.

I stopped playing, for 30 years, and only recently got the "bug" again.

That was a Marshall "Major" Stack (200 watt head). Sounded FANTASTIC,

but was way too loud for any venue we ever got to play in, around here.

I did used is, successfully, at outdoor dances, etc. But, indoors, I used a

Twin Reverb I also had, at that time. I've been fortunate enough, to build

a decent guitar collection, since then, but no Marshall Stack (yet). The places

we play in, nowadays, don't require more than my Fender Blues Jr., or at best,

my HR Deluxe. Even it's too loud (at the "sweet spot") for most of those places.

But...it's a nice sounding amp, all the same.

Cheers,

CB
