LarryUK
The trc is horrible. Are Gibson chasing PRS now?
merciful-evans
Not sure why, but it doesn't appeal.

Searcy
What I'm trying to do here is, when I remember too, post a different guitar here every day from the "Gibson Family of Brands". For the most part they will be the lesser known guitars but not always. Feel free to love them or hate them. Today we have the ES 335 studio. 2014 Gibson ES-335 Studio

For the most part they will be the lesser known guitars but not always. Feel free to love them or hate them. Today we have the ES 335 studio. 2014 Gibson ES-335 Studio Ive seen one of these at my local store. I had not noticed the odd looking plate at the neck join though (maybe that was a 2015?). Without f-holes and body binding, these look a bit strange. I dont mind a single pickup, but not at the bridge position, and then certainly not a dirty finger. So no GAS for this one either. badbluesplayer
I like the looks of it. Just one pickup? Or what?
Big Bill
I could dig this if the neck had some binding
Dub-T-123
I could dig this if the neck had some binding It looks like it has black binding on the fretboard Hard to tell because the pics on Gibson's page are surprisingly low quality, but the seam where the fretboard meets the body looks pretty rough. Searcy
If it came it he same color as the Alex Lifeson 40th Ann. LP it would be the Pimp. I have never liked blue guitars. I hate blue guitars myself. Burn them all. The TAK comes in lots of colors though.
Retired
So far out of the 3, I'd take the black one.

merciful-evans
1988 Gibson SG 90 Thats a curious looking neck pup for a Gibson. And what sort of bridge is that? Reminds me of a Floyd Rose, but there is no locking nut so...
jdgm
That bridge is Steinberger I think. Here's another quite similar SG variant; the SG-Z. I like this! There was also a single hb SG-X.

Pinch
There's a 2017 V with Dirty Fingers in it that looks nice. http://www.americanmusical.com/contentpages/090116_gibson_2017/images/flyingv.jpg I wonder if they upscaled it back to normal, after that pony they called a horse last year.
