Aster1
What kind of question is this? That's like asking which one of your children or Motorcycles would you keep if you could just have one!!! Acoustic Gibson Dove Electric Ric 330 FG (or maybe a Casino, or a Strat, then there's a Tele, and a DuoJet Gretsch...) I can't decide. zigzag
My Carvin SH550. If I had a 175, I might change my mind.
milod
Ziggy... Out here in the boonies never heard of that Carvin so... I went on line. Ain't a bad looking piece as an overall guitar at all, especially if you 're playing in a general pop/rock/blues environment where I tend to take the semi 'stedda the 175. <grin> Hmmmm. m

I tend to gravitate more to clean jazz tones, and that's where the 175 might actually be a better fit for me. But the SH550 sounds more like a 335 with P-90s, so I can also coax some jazz-box-type-similar sounds out of it if I set everything just right. The better OP question might also include amps. milod
Ziggy... RE: Amps... Absolutely. Any electric is at minimum a two-part instrument - not just the guitar. m
This_Dying_Soul
For electric's I would have to say a 3 pickup SG Custom in white. The amp would have to be my trusty Trayor YCS50H but with a 4x12 cab instead of the 2x12 I have now. If it was to be an acoustic, I'd have to say an Ibanez Euphoria Steve Vai model. To narrow things down further would depend on the scenario. If there was no electricity, the Ibanez, if there was electricity - the SG custom. Thundergod
Probably one of the new melody makers with 2 p90s or a US standard telecaster, the finish should be blue.

charlie brown
Beautiful, cb, just beautiful! J/W Thanks, JW...I've been playing it, quite a bit, lately. It has a tiny bit different sound, than my newer Strat. Not sure, if it's the older pickups, on the '64...or maybe, the maple fingerboard, on the much newer (2003) "Highway 1" that's responsible, for that? Could be a bit of both? But, the '64 sounds Awesome, still. CB
lespaulj45
If I had to reduce myself to one guitar only it would have to be my J45.....of all the guitars I have owned over the years this is the one that has the sweetest tone and the most pleasant to play-downside is if I pick it up after using my 9.5 lb LP its so light its like a feather
