badbluesplayer
Oops - My shop was getting flooded and I was moving some amps around really quickly and I yanked my reverb unit off a shelf and onto the concrete slab. It got yanked by the cable and ended up right on it's top and bent the input jack. Everything works like new. Dimarzio cables are pretty tough. Reverb unit is fine. 😁

mihcmac
I always use a right-angle cord going into my amps, yanking them out doesn't work very well.
CNJ
BBP, with that kind of luck you need to buy a lottery ticket, pronto! Glad all is well.

tx-ogre
Glad to hear there was no serious damage. If that had happened to me, I’d probably still be scraping up pieces off the floor.
Larsongs
I did that with one of sets of Headphones…. It Sucks!
saturn
Am I the only one confused by "reverb unit"? Looks like an amp to me. Anyway, must be pretty tough if that's all the damage it took from the fall.
fortyearspickn
That happened to me one morning with my toaster. The toast landed jelly side down on the oriental carpet.
kidblast
I hope your shop recovers ok and glad the reverb unit was a-okay too. sure does suck when this stuff happens. about 15 or so years back... when I used to leave cables plugged into guitars..., my foot caught a cable that was plugged into one of my acoustics,, resting a 3 guitar stand with 2 other acoustics. from here you can only guess the massacre that was unfolding before my eyes. Lucky for me they landed on a carpeted floor and only one guitar got a small ding on it which I was able to repair pretty easily. could have been much worse. I learned a few lessons that day. Whitefang
Yeah, no matter what it is... From guitar cords to headphones, nothing's worse than pulling on the cord to disconnect and be holding just the cable with the jack still plugged into the input. I'm guessing these were originally created to add reverb to amps like the Fender Bassman which doesn't have reverb built in. Yep, and they sound freakin awesome. It's a Fender style reverb unit. It's one of the first tube amp type things I built. Maybe 15 years old.
Twang Gang
I bet it made it great "boing" sound hitting that concrete floor 🤩
